Storing dangerous chemicals and chemical mixtures is not entirely easy. If we store chemical substances correctly, we reduce the potential danger that may arise when incompatible substances are stored together. The properties of individual substances must be taken into account, and the conditions of their storage must be adjusted accordingly.

How to ideally store chemicals? There is no uniform rule for this. We must always be guided by the nature of these substances. Each chemical substance is specific, therefore it needs an individual approach both during work and during storage or disposal.

Safety containers for combustibles, either with safety self-closing or with a safety valve in various volumes, as well as safety containers with a plunger piston for dispensing liquids and baskets for hazardous waste, are a great helper in our work.

For clear storage of chemicals, you can use special cabinets that are specifically designed for this purpose. The cabinets have solid steel doors with perforations to ensure proper ventilation and cylinder locks for sufficient security. Special shelves in the shape of a tray for possible leakage of liquids with or without a grate are an essential part. Other useful equipment also includes a pocket located on the inside of the door for storing documents related to the stored substances.

The storage of chemical substances is not only about storing small-volume containers in cabinets but also about storing and storing liquids in barrels. For this, we use catch basins with or without grates, mobile catch basins, covered catch basins, or even catch pallets. You can transport barrels on pallets with catch basins, which are designed for 2 or 4 barrels. Catch pallets can also be stacked to save space. All collection tubs, pallets, and stands are mainly metal with a galvanized or lacquered finish, but the offer also includes fiberglass. You can therefore choose exactly according to the nature of the stored chemicals. Each chemical substance has different properties and thus has different storage requirements, and this must be taken into account first.
